Amish Storm is easy to get into. I enjoyed following Katie Lapp and Jach Yoder as they went through a decision to marry or not. Zach changed his mind about marriage, after a year of dating. Katie was heart broken by Zach's decision. Ruth takes you into this story and makes you part of it. You feel Katie's pain andwant her to be happy again. You just have to read this story yourself. I recommend Amish Storm for all ages, especially teenagers. There are lots of ups and downs in this adventure. I don't want to give away the ending.
I believe you would enjoy this book. I did!

Mixed feeling...good read but way too short.
Don't buy it. Normally, a "series" is composed of several books, each with a story line and conclusion. The next in the series will be a continuation of the same people and /or story line. However, in this series, the "books" stop in the middle of an event and you have to purchase the next one to see the conclusion. I got the first one for free - fine - I went ahead and bought the next one thinking that for $2.99, I would have the complete story. But the second one stopped in the middle of a situation and you have to buy the next book to see what happens. So I would recommend to the sellers that they just sell the complete series for, say $7 or $8 and people would pay and get their money's worth. Having said that, I think that there are much better writers about the Amish life than Ruth Price. She goes from first person to third person, back and forth and the story really isn't all that interesting.
I just couldn't get past the first person narrative. I read to chapter four, and then scrolled to the end where it was still first person. I don't remember other Ruth Price stories being told in the first person, but maybe I have her mixed up with someone else. I'm sure it was probably a good story.
This story line is good and it is well written; however I did not appreciate the way the author tricks you into buying her books! The first book was free BUT ONLY 3 chapters. The second book was 99 cents with a few more chapters and now to complete the story one must pay $2.99 for book. Why didn't she make it one book for $3.98? I don't like being tricked to buy a b oil.
